01 — The challenge

Irish employment law is moving faster than most businesses can follow.

The obligations placed on employers have grown significantly. Managing them alongside day-to-day business is one of the most practical challenges facing Irish employers right now.

01

The administrative burden is growing

Each new piece of legislation means reviewing contracts, updating policies, communicating with staff and maintaining records—often by an owner or manager already carrying a full workload.

02

The cost of getting it wrong

Mishandled employment matters can lead to WRC claims, reputational exposure and operational disruption. Managing these risks takes more than good intentions.

99.8%

of Irish businesses are SMEs

They employ more than 69% of the Irish workforce, and most operate without dedicated in-house HR expertise.

Legislation is explained in plain terms. You are told clearly what needs to happen, why it matters and what your options are.

04No jargon

We translate complex HR requirements into straightforward actions that business leaders can understand and implement.

05Connected expertise

In-house legal, tax and corporate governance specialists are available when an HR matter crosses into another discipline.

04 — Who we work with

Built around the client and the challenges they face.

We work with organisations across Ireland. The common thread is not sector or size, but the need for clear, experienced HR support specific to the business.

01

Owner-managed businesses

For founders and directors managing people alongside the business. We handle the complexity so you can stay focused on the organisation.

02

Growing businesses

For organisations adding headcount or introducing structure. We build the practices and documentation that support sustained growth.

03

Established employers

For employers needing additional expertise, a second opinion or specialist support for a particular matter.

04

Professional advisers

For accountants, solicitors and consultants whose clients need trusted, specialist HR support alongside their existing advice.

05 — How we work

A clear process, start to finish.

Every engagement starts with a direct conversation about the organisation, the situation and what needs to happen.

  1. 01

    Understand

We learn the business, its people, the issue at hand and the practical constraints involved—without assumptions or a standard checklist.

  2. 02

    Advise

We give specific guidance: what needs to happen, why it matters and what the options are.

  3. 03

    Support & implement

Where useful, we prepare documentation, guide managers, advise on communications and stay with the situation as it develops.

06 — When clients call us

The range is wide.
The approach is always specific.

Clients often come to us when an ordinary people issue has become difficult, urgent or high-risk. We bring clarity and a way forward.

01

A disciplinary matter is escalating

We advise on the correct procedure, support the employer through each stage and help reduce exposure.

02

A grievance or complaint has been raised

We explain how to respond, what process to follow and what documentation is required.

03

The business is restructuring

We advise on the legal and procedural approach to reorganisation or redundancy and support each stage.

04

Contracts or policies are out of date

We review the current position and bring employment documentation into line with current obligations.

05

Performance is not being addressed

We provide a clear framework and guide the employer through a fair, documented process.

06

Growth needs better HR structures

We introduce the policies, contracts and practices that support the next stage without unnecessary overhead.
